The Andy Choa Memorial Trust was established in 2000 in honour
of the late Andy Choa, an active member of HBSAHK.
Since inception, the Trust has funded a number of scholarships
for senior executives from non-profit organisations in Hong
Kong to attend the "Strategic Perspectives in Non Profit Management"
executive education programme at HBS. In 2008, six scholarships
were awarded out of a record number of 40 applicants.
By training and empowering those who manage social and charitable
organisations, and by making them more effective and efficient
in the delivery of their services, it is intended that these
scholarships have a multiple and leveraged impact on the well-being
of the most needy in Hong Kong.
HBSAHK is exploring new initiatives to broaden the activities
supported by the Andy Choa Memorial Trust, and would welcome
input from all alumni. Please contact philanthropy@hbsahk.org
to find out more or to make a donation to the Trust.
